About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and accountable Accounts Associate to support the financial management and day-to-day accounting operations of Esty Agroscience Global Ltd. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, supporting payroll and inventory accounting, monitoring receivables and payables, and preparing timely financial reports.Working closely with management and teams across our agricultural operations, you will help ensure effective financial controls, accurate reporting, proper reconciliation of accounts, and compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to financial planning and decision-making across areas including seed production, input sales, commodity trading, inventory management, and farmer-financing programmes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a related role.•Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/inventory-management software.
- Experience managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, cash management, and financial records.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
- Experience with inventory accounting, production costing, or stock reconciliation is an added advantage.
- Knowledge or experience in agriculture, seed production, input sales, or commodity trading is an advantage.
- Relevant professional accounting qualification or ongoing certification is an advantage.•High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to management.
