Job Title:MCHTrack Digital Engagement Tool – Immunization Zero-Dose Innovation Project LGA Supervisor
Location: Â Malammadori LGA, Jigawa State
Position Summary
The LGA Supervisor will provide day-to-day supervision of Community Resource Groups (CRGs), Routine Immunization (RI) Providers, and project activities within Malammadori LGA. The Supervisor will serve as Datharm Foundation’s focal representative at the LGA level, ensuring quality implementation, stakeholder coordination, and timely reporting. The position reports directly to the State Project Coordinator.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Public Health, Community Health, Nursing, Environmental Health, Health Education, Epidemiology, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Higher qualifications are an added advantage.
- Residency
- Must be a resident of Malammadori LGA or possess excellent knowledge of the LGA and its communities.
- Must be willing to work full-time within project communities.
- Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the management and coordination of primary health care programmes at the LGA level.
- Experience with oversight of Routine Immunization, supportive supervision, data use for decision-making and collaboration with government and development partners.
- Previous supervision of CHIPS Agents, Jakadun Lafia, VCMs, or similar community structures is an added advantage.
- Digital Skills
Applicants must be proficient in:
- Android smartphones and mobile applications.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Forms).
- Email and WhatsApp communication.
- Communication & Coordination
- Good written and spoken English and Hausa.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage government officials and represent Datharm professionally during LGA coordination meetings, particularly LERICC.
- Availability
- Available for immediate deployment.
- Willing to travel regularly across communities within Malammadori LGA.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The LGA Supervisor will:
- Supervise CRGs and RI Providers across Malammadori LGA.
- Conduct routine supportive supervision visits to communities and Apex Health Facilities.
- Monitor daily use of the MCHTrack application and ensure data quality.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to CRGs and RI Providers.
- Coordinate closely with the PHC Manager, RIO, M&E Officer, Health Educator, and other LGA officials.
- Represent Datharm Foundation at all weekly LERICC meetings and other relevant coordination platforms.
- Present project updates, document meeting resolutions, and follow up on agreed action points from LERICC meetings.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly implementation reports to the State Project Coordinator.
- Promptly escalate operational challenges requiring state-level attention.
- Support project trainings, monitoring visits, and other implementation activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to candidates who:

- Have supervised donor-funded health programmes.
- Have experience working with JSPHCDA or LGA PHC systems.
- Have managed digital health or mobile data collection activities.
- Have strong working relationships with community leaders and health workers in Malammadori LGA.
