Key Responsibilities of uLesson Builders Fellow

As uLesson Builders Fellow, you will

  • Participate in structured cross-functional rotations across key business functions, including Product, Growth, Operations, Strategy, and other critical areas of the organisation.
  • Work on high-impact projects, strategic initiatives, and innovation-driven experiments that contribute directly to business growth and organisational objectives.
  • Analyse complex business challenges, develop data-driven insights, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve processes, products, and customer experiences.
  • Support the design, testing, and iteration of innovative ideas that improve learning outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to gain exposure to strategic decision-making and business leadership.
  • Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and accountability in delivering assigned projects and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to uLesson’s mission of expanding access to quality education across Africa.
  • Continuously develop leadership, problem-solving, and execution capabilities through mentorship, training, and hands-on experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be eligible for the uLesson Builders Fellowship Program, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • A First Class Honours degree (or equivalent) from a recognised university.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Must have completed NYSC or have an exemption letter.
  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and innovation mindset skills.
  • Evidence of exceptional performance in academics, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, or professional experience.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ambition to build, innovate, and lead within a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong alignment with uLesson’s mission and values.
