Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for carrying out various types of construction laboratory tests including soil tests, asphalt tests, concrete tests, field tests etc. to meet up with applicable construction standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation and maintaining of laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt or aggregate.
• Assist on secondary testing of soil, concrete and asphalt relating to permeability, strength and materials acceptance.
• Recording samples according to applicable construction standards.
• Compiling and inputting testing results.
• Keeping the laboratory in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Recording and maintaining equipment calibration and verification.
• Any other assigned task(s).

Education & Experience

• Must have Laboratory Testing Certification
• Degree/HND in Civil Engineering/Technology or Geosciences is required for Laboratory and Senior Laboratory Technicians.
• Minimum 3 -5 years relevant working experience in construction laboratory in soil test, asphalt, concrete and filed test for Laboratory and Senior Laboratory Technicians.
• With experience in a Construction Firm

Competence Required:

• Team oriented
• Understands the operation of Construction Laboratory.
• Very good attention to details
• Accuracy of results on test carried out.
• Ability to run different kinds of laboratory test.

Salary: N350,000 monthly.
