(CDCFIB) Recruitment Guide how to check Shortlisted candidates Step- by- Step process
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform the general public, especially applicants for the 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise, of its plan to move to the next stage of the exercise, which is physical screening and document verification.
Accordingly, applicants who took part in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 are to access the Board’s official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Monday, 15th to Friday, 20th June 2026, to verify their status
The following procedure is to guide candidates recruitment process guidelines step by step.
01.PORTAL ACCESS

- – Enter your Application Number to verify your status
- – Use the application number from initial registration.
- – Access only through the official portal URL.
02. SHORTLISTING
Shortlisting Verification
PORTAL PERIOD
- – The system verifies your application number automatically Shortlisted candidates proceeds to the upload portal.
- – Non-shortlisted candidates stop at this stage
03. DOCUMENT UPLOAD & SCHEDULING
Upload Documents and Select Physical Exam Date 15-20 June 2026
- – Upload all required supporting documents as specified.
- – Select your preferred date and closet venue.
- – Confirm Submission before the portal closes.
! Venues slots are limited – select a centre quickly.
04. Download and Print your Slip EXAMINATION SLIP
Immediately after Submission
- – Download the generated slip immediately after Submission.
- Print at least two copies for safekeeping.
- – Check your name, date, venue and candidate number.
! This Slip is your entry pass; safeguard it.
05. PHYSICAL EXAMINATION Attend Physical Examination
Commencing 22 June 2026
- – Bring only your printed Slip.
- – Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
- – Dress appropriately for physical fitness assessment
! Late arrivals may be denied entry.
06. PHASE 1 RESULTS
- Check Phase 1 Results and Proceed
- Announcement – To be announced
- – Result will be published on the official portal.
- Successful candidates proceed to Phase 2: Fitness and Oral Examinations.
- – Follow official CDCFIB channels only.
! Monitor official channels for Phase 1 results announcement.
