Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the construction of new branches and the renovation, adaptation, or face-lifting of existing branches and facilities.
- Manage the allocation of office spaces to staff, ensuring optimal utilization of available space.
- Oversee general civil and building works, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and professional execution.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all bank-owned or leased properties within the designated zone.
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all branches and facilities.
- Safeguard staff, customers, and bank assets by maintaining a safe and secure physical environment.
- Manage the upkeep and repair of engineering infrastructure (HVAC, generators, electrical systems, plumbing, etc.) to ensure continuous branch operations.
- Ensure branch ambience and infrastructure align with the Bank’s customer service and brand standards.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders (departments, SBUs) and external parties (regulatory agencies, landlords, service providers).
- Monitor and ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental standards, and urban development policies.
- Oversee timely and accurate processing of facility-related tax obligations (e.g., land use charge, tenement rates) to prevent penalties.
- Provide regular updates and reports to line management on property status, project progress, HSE compliance, and infrastructure conditions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- First degree in Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
- Professional Certifications (an added advantage)
- Minimum experience: 5years relevant experience is required.
