Job Title: CROWN Focal Person
Location: Katsina state.
Our client is seeking an experienced Community Reorientation Women Network (CROWN) Project Consultant to provide technical and operational leadership for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of community-based maternal health interventions.
The consultant will support the coordination of community women volunteers and CROWN champions, strengthen demand generation for maternal health services, and facilitate stakeholder engagement with government agencies, community leaders, and relevant partners.
Requirements:
- BSc or Master’s degree, preferably in Public Health or a related health field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience consulting in the health sector
- Prior experience working with the State Primary Health Care Development Agency (PHCDA) or government systems is a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in community engagement and managing programs in local communities
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required; fluency in Hausa is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of all activities under the Community Reorientation Women Network (CROWN) initiative
- Oversee the selection, orientation, and training of community women volunteers and CROWN champions.
- Guide the implementation of strategies to improve the uptake of maternal health services, including antenatal care (ANC), facility delivery, and postnatal care (PNC)
- Partner with government agencies at state and LGA levels, community leaders, and faith-based organizations to align project objectives
- Design and oversee programs for volunteer women, including the establishment of cooperative societies and capacity-building sessions.
