RES is dedicated to generating high-quality, policy-relevant evidence and strengthening the interface between research, policy, and practice across governance, education and development sectors in Nigeria and across Africa. RES works at the intersection of academic research, policy analysis, and. stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on translating evidence into actionable policy and institutional reforms. Job Description
a) support the implementation of research initiatives for informed evidence-based policy-making. The role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research, synthesizing findings into actionable knowledge products;
b) generate, document and disseminate high-quality research outputs that aligns with organizational priorities;
c) collaborate with programme’s team to integrate research findings into adaptive management and continuous improvement processes; and
d) support the identification and application for research grants/opportunities within RES’ areas of work;
Required qualifications:
a) 3-4 years experience in development and research ecosystems;
b) a Master’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Sociology or any related field is an added advantage;
c) proven knowledge of the workings of policy ecosystems;
d) skilled in quantitative data analysis; and
e) evidence of published research.
