The candidates whose names appear on https://www.joinnigeriannavy.navy.mil.ng were successful at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 Recruitment Examination held on 29 November 2025. The shortlisted candidates are hereby invited to attend an interview which would hold concurrently at Nigerian Defence Academy Old Site in Kaduna and the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School at Onne, Rivers State from 10 January – 21 February 2026. While candidates from the North West, North Central and North East Geopolitical Zones are to attend their interview in NDA Old Site Kaduna, others from the South West, South South and South East zones are to attend their interview at NNBTS Onne, Rivers State. The dates and sequence of attendance for the interview is as shown below:

All shortlisted applicants must attend individually and bring essential documentation and personal items.
These include a printed and signed application form, original and photocopies of credentials, valid drivers’ license (Category H), State of Origin or LGA certificate, National Identity Card or acknowledgment slip, and a copy of their BVN. Additionally, candidates are expected to provide writing materials, four recent passport-sized photographs on white background, a set of cutlery, bed sheets, pillowcases, personal toiletries, two pairs of navy blue shorts, two white unmarked T-shirts, canvas shoes or trainers, and stockings.
During the interview, each participant will undergo verification of credentials, medical and physical assessment, as well as a written examination. Any deficiency in required documentation or failure to meet standards at any stage may lead to immediate disqualification. The Navy has also emphasized that providing false, misleading, or fabricated information at any point during the selection process will result in cancellation of candidature. Offenders may face legal prosecution, including possible involvement of the Nigeria Police Force.
Candidates who fail to report at the specified centre for their state of origin on the assigned dates will automatically forfeit their opportunity. Moreover, individuals found with forged papers or impersonators will be arrested and prosecuted. Reporting accurate medical information is mandatory, and any omissions or misrepresentations may result in immediate dismissal, even after enrollment in the service.
