Job Summary:
The Communications Assistant will assist the Communications Officer in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote the organization’s mission and programs. The role includes conceptualizing, planning, and developing podcast topics, formats, and structures as well as writing compelling titles and distributing episodes across various platforms to reach the target audience.
Requirements:
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
- Experience working on gender issues is encouraged.
- Strong ability to simplify complex topics for target audiences.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Exceptional content writing and storytelling abilities.
- Strong research and interviewing skills.
- Creativity in developing unique and engaging podcast concepts and formats.
- Familiarity with podcasting trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to design project-based communication strategies.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
