  • Location:  Sokoto
  • The successful candidates will work to support data collection, verification and reporting for the across DISC 2.0 sites in Sokoto State. S/he will work closely with the Data Analyst and State Program Coordinator in ensuring quality delivery of data validation meetings for both service delivery and demand generation data, timely entry of data to project-specific reporting instance, while adherence to standard operating procedure. They will also be expected to participate in data quality assessment visits. He/she will also work closely with the state LMCU to ensure commodity security in all project supported facilities.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will work closely with the Data Analyst, State Program Coordinator, Snr. Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Advisor, and other project staff.

  • Provide technical support to LGA teams during data validation meetings.
  • Liaise with Community volunteers to ensure timely reporting of community level data to project database.
  • Responsible for data entry to project reporting instance such as DHIS2, JADE etc.
  • Contribute to development of data collection tools.
  • Participate in data quality assessments to project sites.
  • Support project supported facility provider on proper documentation and reporting of FP services
  • Liaise with the LMCU team to ensure proper quantification and timely submission of FP commodity requests to national to ensure commodity security.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in statistics, public health, information technology, social sciences or other related discipline.
  • At least, two years’ experience in RMNCAH programming
  • Experience and familiarity with national health management information system and/or DHIS2.
  • Good computer skills, especially working knowledge of MS word, Power point presentation and MS Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
