Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media & Community Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely on both in-house and client brands to foster strong online communities, enhance brand visibility, and drive engagement. Your primary responsibility will be to build and nurture communities across multiple social platforms while crafting engaging and innovative content, including videos, that captivates audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and engage with online communities across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and user interactions to foster a positive brand presence.
  • Develop strategies to grow and sustain online communities, encouraging active participation.
  • Create visually compelling and engaging video content, as well as other multimedia assets tailored to platform-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and other content creators to develop and maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic.
  • Plan and execute content calendars aligned with campaign goals and key business objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative social media strategies that align with marketing and branding goals.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, community growth, and content engagement metrics.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes to refine strategies.
  • Brainstorm and execute creative initiatives, such as contests, live sessions, or unique campaigns that drive community engagement.
  • Advocate for a user-first approach, ensuring that community needs and interests are central to content planning.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms and online communities.
  • Strong video creation and editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere, Canva, or other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful community interactions.
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to craft content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to evaluate performance and optimize strategies.
  • Experience working with an agency is a plus.
