Dr Omar Atiq: Musulmi na farko da zai fara rike mukamin shugaban Kwalejin Likitoci ta kasar Amurka
Dr Omar Atiq shine dan kasar Pakistan na farko da za a bawa mukamin shugaban kwalejin likitoci ta kasar Amurka (ACP), kuma zai zama likita na biyu wanda ba dan kasar ba da zai rike wannan mukami. Za a gabatar da wannan zabe, duk da cewa bashi da abokin hamayya a watan Janairun shekarar 2022.
Ganin irin sunan da kwalejin ke da shi a fadin kasar Amurka dama duniya baki daya, mambobin kasashe sama da 145 na duniya, za su sanya wannan abu cikin kundin tarihin kasar Pakistan.
Kimanin mutane 154,000, duka wadanda suka yi karatu a fannin lafiya, da kuma kwararrun likitoci da suka yi rijista a kwalejin.
Jaridar Labaranhausa ta kara da cewa Dr Omar Atiq, wanda yake farfesa ne a fannin likitanci da ilimin otolaryngology, an bashi mukamin shugaban ‘yan kwamitin gwamnonin kwalejin a shekarar 2019. Yana daya daga cikin ‘yan wannan kungiyar tun a shekarar 1993.

A jikin katin Dr Atiq ya rubuta cewa cibiyar ciwon daji ta birnin Arkansas ta gano cewa mutane da dama basa iya daukar nauyin rayuwar su saboda haka da yawa daga cikin marasa lafiyan an biya musu bashin da ake bin su.
